Wilma Dean Cooper, 87, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, in St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 5-8 p.m Wednesday, March 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to: American Heart Association. Wilma was born March 6, 1928, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William and Bertha (Park) Jones. She married Robert I. Cooper in 1945, in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1996. Wilma enjoyed her job as office manager at Cooper Brothers Construction. Surviving are her sons: Robert Cooper and wife Donna, William Cooper and wife Pam, all of Decatur; grandchildren: Jason, Cooper, Jeremy Cooper, Angi Cooper and fiancé John Haksasila; step-grandson: Shane Richardson; great-grandson: Landyn; sister: Jean Marlowe and husband Harold of Oreana, IL; brothers: Lyle Jones and wife Pam of Warrensburg, IL, Larry Jones and wife Kaye of Decatur. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, granddaughter Jamie, brothers Donald and Lloyd.
