Services to celebrate Wilmas life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Private graveside service will be held on Monday, March 1, at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church, 650 W. William St., Decatur, Illinois 62522.Wilma was born on October 2, 1929, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of James and Bernice (Mize) Wallingford. She married Morris Birkhead on June 6, 1948.Wilma was an avid golfer, loved music, reading, ceramics, art, painting, and travel. Travel highlight of her life was a trip to Israel with Pastor Bill Nichols group from Central Christian Church.Wilma is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Morris of Decatur, IL; daughters Cheryl L Birkhead of Charleston, IL, Debra L Birkhead of Normal, IL; sister Wanda Noll of St. Elmo, IL; niece Cindy Davis of St. Elmo, IL; and nephew Roger Noll of Denver, CO. "
