William West

William C. “Bill” West, 59, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his residence. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, at North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. Bill was born June 14, 1959, in Decatur, IL, son of Billie Darrel and Jeanine Sylvia (Vance) West. He married Becky J. Maxheimer in February 1980. Bill worked for Firestone as a tire builder for 14 years, was a cook for 20 years at Stan’s Steakhouse in Findley and then for The Farmhouse in Shelbyville. He loved to golf. Surviving is his daughter: Kristi L. (Trevor) Lowery of Union, KY; son: Bryan K. West (Kierstin Brandt) of St. Peters, MO; mother: Jeanine West of Sullivan; brother: Randall L. West (fiancé Julie Stivers Thomas) of Illiopolis; grandchildren: Tanner, Kamryn, Kendyl, and Karysa Lowery. Bill was preceded in death by his father. "
