William Myers

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M., Friday, November 26, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Millikin University.William was born December 22, 1942 in Decatur, IL, the son of William Jr. and Idella May (Kincaid) Myers. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Millikin University and worked as an accountant for Wilson Construction Company, retiring in 2007. William previously worked for Eisner Groceries and Pate Industries in Florida. He was a past member of St. Pauls Methodist Church. William volunteered at Allerton Park as a groundskeeper and loved woodworking and maintaining his house.He is survived by his Brother Bob (Cheryl) Myers of Decatur, IL; nieces Peg Holman and husband David of Mt. Zion, IL, Karen Auton and husband Roger of Decatur, IL; nephews Brad Stollard and wife Susan of Bethany, IL, Will Stollard and wife Pam of Decatur, IL, Ben Stollard and wife Lynnette of Bethany, IL, Darren Myers and wife Susan of Bradenton, FL; numerous great nieces and nephews; and close friends Mike and Barb Wilson and family.He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one niece.
