William Logue

William B. “Benny” Logue III, 71, of Decatur, IL, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, doing what he loved, riding his bicycle. There will be an Open House from 1-5pm Sunday, September 23, at The Bourbon Barrel, Decatur. Benny was born December 20, 1946, in Decatur, son of William Benjamin Logue, Jr. and Wilma Kathleen (Kester) Logue. He married Jeanie Prasun March 1, 1969, in Decatur. Benny was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from Bodine Electric and was a member of I.B.E.W. Benny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jeanie; daughter Bridgette (Doug) Lercher of Decatur; grandchildren Taylor and Travis Lercher; sisters Judy Williams of Mesa, AZ, Billie Byers of Denver, CO and Jody (Jerry) Stephens of Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
