William Edmiston

William Raymond Edmiston, 74, of Decatur, IL, formerly of Pekin, IL, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.There will be no services. Cremation rites to be accorded. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family.William was born October 24, 1941, in Barry, IL, son of Cecil and Eva (Hoskins) Edmiston. He married Sandra Hibbs and she preceded him in death. He later married Barbara Best and she also preceded him in death.William was retired from G&D Integrated Transportation and also worked at Illinois Corn Products, A.D.M. and Star Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading about history, and was an avid Cardinal fan.Surviving are his children: Richard Edmiston, Leslie Seelye, Robin Trimmer, Jeremy Whitlatch; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.William was also preceded in death by his parents, and sister Carol Denney.
