CUSTOM DEATH NOTICEWilliam Delbert Conley, 89, of Cerro Gordo passed away Friday evening, August 29, 2008.Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at the Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 from 5-7:00 PM at the Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL. Memorials may be made to the Cerro Gordo Ambulance Fund.Delbert was born April 20, 1919 to William Claude and Ora Bee (LaCost) Conley. He graduated from Cerro Gordo High School. He and Betty Jane Cox were married Nov. 20, 1940. Delbert was a retired self employed cabinet maker, member of the Cerro Gordo American Legion Post # 117 and Masonic Lodge AF & AM # 600.Mr. Conley is survived by his wife: Betty Jane Conley. his sons: Ronald of Tavares, FL. and David of Tucker, GA. grandchildren: Lori Marmion of Orlando, FL, Eric Conley of Bement, IL, Kara Peterka of Orlando, FL and Chaz Conley of Tucker, GA. one brother; Jack of Orange, TX and great grandchildren: Carli, Michael and Ethan.He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sons; Gene and Dean, brothers: Walter, Harold, Ralph and Virgil and sisters: Velma, Wilma, Laura and Virginia.The Conley family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Shackelford and his nursing staff.
