William Anderson

William "Bill" H. Anderson, 71, of Decatur, IL passed away on October 31, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2:00PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses; 876 W. Pershing Road, Decatur, IL; with a visitation one hour prior. Private burial services were held at an earlier date. Bill was born on March 12, 1944 in Clinton, IN the son of Howard Vaughn and Siotha Irene (Riley) Anderson. He married Mauretia Haynes on April 28, 1967 in Oceanside, CA. Bill was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Bill worked at Firestone for 30 years. He also worked as a mechanic. He loved cars and was a big NASCAR fan. He was also a fan of the Green Bay Packers. Bill is survived by his wife Mauretia and his four children; Donita (David) Rotz of Decatur, IL, Katheryn Miller of Taylorville, IL, Michael Anderson of Decatur, IL, and Robert (Dianna) Anderson of Niantic, IL. Bill is also survived by one brother, Leo (Rosemary) LaFauce of Largo, FL, and seven grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, David Michael Anderson, and one sister, Velma Anderson. "
