Wesley Patrick

Wesley Earl Patrick, 62, of Decatur, IL, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Monday, October 22, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL, with military honors by Sangamon County Interveterans Burial Detail. Memorials in Wesley’s honor may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Wesley was born February 16, 1956, in Decatur, son of William Edward and Dolores Ann (Threlkeld) Patrick. Wesley served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a pipefitter and welder for 30 years until his retirement. Wesley was a member of First Lutheran Church. Surviving is his son Josh (Jessica) Patrick of Oreana; granddaughter Lily; sister Patsy (Gary) Strader of Edwardsville; brother Larry (Carol) Patrick of Indiana; and special cousin Kimberly Sumner. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roy Patrick.
