Wendell L. "Wendy" McRoberts, Sr., 78, of Decatur, IL, died 9:49 A.M., Monday, January 7, 2013, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 11, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 4 to 7 P.M., Thursday, January 10, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice. Wendell was born February 2, 1934 in Decatur, IL, the son of Edward N. and Mable M. (Cooper) McRoberts. He married Helen M. Musgraves on December 24, 1953 in Decatur, IL. Wendell worked for Mueller Company for 42 years. He was a lifetime member of Eagles Club. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen; children Jeffrey McRoberts, Terry (Tina) McRoberts, Wendell "Pete" (Teresa) McRoberts, Jr., and Susan (Jeff) Havener, all of Decatur, IL; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; sister I. Darlene (Robert) McIntyre of Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Arnold and Karol, and sister Elnora. "
