Wayne Lienemann

On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, Wayne Lienemann of Decatur, IL, went to be with his Lord and Savior while surrounded by his family, friends, and church. Memorial services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Wayne was born on September 6, 1940. He married Judith A. (Douglas) Lienemann on June 11, 1977. He loved everyone who came to know him and was loved by all. Wayne was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Everyone who walked through the door was sure to receive a smile, hug, or handshake. He was an avid Cardinal fan and didn't mind telling you so. He loved his family greatly, but first and foremost, he loved his God. He was an inspiration to us all. Surviving are his wife Judy Lienemann of Decatur, IL; daughter Lori (Rodger) Gilbert of Decatur, IL; son Michael Douglas of Decatur, IL; grandchildren April Johnston of Decatur, IL, Sherry (Timothy) Reimer of Decatur, IL, Robert Douglas of Decatur; great grandson Isaiah Johnston of Decatur, IL; brother Norman (Darla) Lienemann of Decatur, IL; sister Lucille (Dennis) Curtsinger of Texas; niece Lisa (Mark) Kent of Texas. Wayne was preceded in death by his father and mother. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Patel, McKinley Court staff and Hospice staff for all their care and wishes, and First Church of the Nazarene for all your care, love and support. "
