Van Horn, 63, of Cerro Gordo, IL, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009 in his home.Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2009 at La Place Cemetery, La Place, IL. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 19 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Cerro Gordo Ambulance or American Heart Association.Warren was born September 20, 1945 in Bloomington, IL, the son of Lyle C. and Ruth J. (Iliff) Van Horn. He married Dorothy L. Sulwer on October 10, 1964, in Decatur.Warren farmed for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing and bowling.Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Dorothy of Cerro Gordo; daughter Trenda Curran and husband Darin of Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren Zachary, Miranda and Noah, all of Sugar Hill, GA.Warren was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thomas Van Horn.
