Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 19, 2009, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL, with visitation from 9:00 - 10:30 A.M., before the service. Burial will be in West Frantz Cemetery, Oakley, IL. Memorials may be made to The Wanda L. Wood Fund.Wanda was born May 5, 1936, in Johnson City, IL, the daughter of Paul Foster and Mary Jane (Myers) Clendenen. She married James Corwin Wood on November 29, 1954 in Peoria, IL. She loved reading, sewing, making quilts and cooking.She is survived by her children Penny L. ODell and husband Kenny of Decatur, IL, Becky J. Foley and husband Gary of Decatur, IL, Duane Allen Wood of Springfield, MO, James W.Wood of Altamont, IL, Jane W. Wood of Decatur, IL, Cheryl A. Rossio and husband Doug of Macomb, IL; 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; sister Ina Simula of NC; brother Robert Clendenen of Springfield, MO.She was preceded in death by her husband James of 50 years, father Paul Foster Clendenen, mother Mary Jane (Myers) Mudd, brother Donald Clendenen, sister Edra Gaddy, grandson Wayne Weeden Wood.
