Wanda A. Hall, 86, of Decatur, IL, passed away 7:32 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Hickory Point Christian Village Assisted Living, Forsyth, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2016, at First Baptist Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children in St. Louis, MO, ALS, or DMH Hospice. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is handling the arrangements. Wanda was born August 7, 1929 in Virden, IL, the daughter of Charles Chester and Lois Marie (Slagle) Ruger. She married John William Hall on June 5, 1955 in Decatur, IL and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2005.Wanda was a member of First Baptist Church. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to DMH Hospice, Hickory Point Christian Village Assisted Living Staff and Cancer Care Specialists for their loving care of Wanda. She is survived by her children Thomas Dale (Carol Sue) Hall of Blue Mound, IL, Karen Elaine (Kelly) Erwin, of Lowell, AR, Loren Mark (Kristy) Hall of Latham, IL; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers. "
