Memorial services will be 5:00 P.M., Monday, November 3, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.John was born May 26, 1944, in Decatur, IL, the son of John, Jr. and Doris Ruth (Roley) Fay. He was a realtor since 2003, most recently with Century 21 Bagley Realty; was a Honolulu Marathon finisher; participated in Triathalons; loved riding motorcycles; member of Cerro Gordo Masonic Lodge #600 AF & AM; and traveled to 48 of 50 states. He was a member of the Air Force Reserve.He is survived by his daughters Danaka (Ken) Bulthuis of Oakley, IL, Jessica Fay of Chicago, Amanda Fay of Kailua, Hawaii; companion Sharon Rohman of Decatur; grandchildren Ethan Bulthuis, Dorie Bulthuis, Breena Bulthuis, all of Oakley, IL; aunts Zelma Fay of Bement, IL, Lenore Kenney of Sullivan, IL; several cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents.
