Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery, Morrisonville, IL.Memorials may be made to St. Johns Hospice.Tom was born February 15, 1931, in Pleasant Plains, IL, the son of Fay Barton and Edna Rhoda (Gee) Brown. He worked at Firestone for many years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Local #713.Tom is survived by his children: Georgia Bockewitz and husband Robert of Morrisonville; Thomas E. Brown of Girard; Lori Jo Kramer and husband Scott of Maroa; step-children: Jack Oglesby of Decatur; Kris Oglesby and wife Cheryl of Decatur; brother: Calvin Brown of Leominster, MA; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
