Virginia Woijeck

Virginia Ruth (Latch) Woijeck, 95, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 8:15 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family.Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church. The family requests casual attire.Virginia was born August 19, 1922, in Decatur, daughter of Theodore Roosevelt and Mary Lurene (Leathers) Latch. She was a 1940 graduate of Decatur High. She married Norman C. Woijeck on November 25, 1945. He preceded her in death.Virginia and her husband lived in Olympia, Washington for 20 years where she worked in the lab at Olympia Brewing Company. She and her husband returned to Decatur in 1974 where she was a secretary at Caterpillar, Inc., until she retired in 1983.Virginia was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for 70 years and spent 25 years as a volunteer secretary for the church.Surviving are her sisters: Eileen Farnsworth and Carole Agney (Robert), all of Decatur. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews also survive.Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Robert Latch. "
