Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Virginia L. Raffety Fund.Virginia was born July 23, 1931, in Charleston, IL, the daughter of Earl F. and Myrtie A. (Deverick) May. She worked as a C.N.A. and loved painting, crocheting, and ceramics, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.She is survived by her children Terry Raffety and wife Janet of Minerville, PA, Timothy Raffety of Colorado Springs, CO, Rebecca Renier and husband Ivory of Springfield, IL, Robin Collins and husband Jerry of Auburn, AL, Tami Noble and husband Larry of Decatur, IL; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; brother Earl May, Jr. and wife Melinda of Decatur, IL; sisters Loretta Doyle and husband Lee of Blue Mound, IL, Elaine Hoose and husband John of Clinton, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents.The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Muneses, Dr. Verma, and Dr. Roy and the entire I.C.U. staff at St. Marys Hospital.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
