Virginia L. Daniels, 89, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 3:04 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016, at Fair Havens Christian Home.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, August 7, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services, 949 County Road 1300 N, Carmi, IL, 62821-9806.Virginia was born February 3, 1927, in Pasadena, California, daughter of Frank and Cleo Hutchison. She married Jesse Ellis Daniels on April 11, 1947. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2002.While living in Decatur, Virginia was an LPN at Decatur Memorial Hospital for many years. After retiring, Virginia and Ellis moved to Colorado where they operated Good News Center, a mission center. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Decatur and enjoyed gardening.Surviving are her children: Diana (Bill) Wallbaum of Colorado Springs, CO, Pat (Ed) Sunderland of Taylorville, IL, and Phil (Brenda) Daniels of Niantic, IL. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, step father Carl Miller, husband, 3 sisters and 1 brother. "
