Viola Poling

Viola Jeanelle Poling, 79, of Milmine, IL, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital.Memorial visitation will be from 4-6 pm Wednesday, November 8, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm.Jeanelle was born September 23, 1938, in Vandalia, IL, forth to the youngest of eleven siblings, to Arthur and Reba (Chatam) Salmons. She married Allen Poling on June 16, 1956 and just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. Jeanelle was a homemaker and a good one at that.Surviving are her husband Allen of Milmine, IL; daughters, Debra Poling, Janet (Floyd) Veteto, all of Milmine, Connie (Chris) Gudgel of Bement; son, Brian (Mona) Poling of Atwood; sister, Lois (Fletcher) Kearns of Mt. Zion; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and son, Vernon D. Poling.Jeanelle will be sadly and greatly missed by many. "
