Vickie Sayles

Vickie Sue Sayles, 64, of Decatur, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Vickie was born on July 23, 1950, in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Carson John Wesley Merriman and Monna Joyce "Penny" (Osborn) Merriman. She married Lonnie R. Sayles on November 19, 1967, in Decatur, IL. Vickie enjoyed playing poker and was an avid reader. Surviving are her daughters: Dianna Cardwell and husband Ron, and Dana Sayles, all of Decatur; grandchildren: Garrett Sayles, Claire Cardwell, and Ian Cardwell, all of Decatur; sister: Patti Feddick of Decatur; and loving nieces and nephews. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael Merriman. "
