Vertie Bair

A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Friday, December 18, 2009, at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be the same day from 10:00 AM til the service time. Burial will be at Long Point Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to Elmhurst Hospital Hospice.Vertie was born September 11, 1918 in Blue Mound, IL, the daughter of Lee and Carrie (Hartwig) McGeorge. She married Charles Glenn Bair in Decatur, IL, 1938.Vertie is survived by four children, Edward Bair and wife, Shirley of Lombard, Karen Stone of Lombard, Glenda Dusik and husband Mark of Brookfield, Charles Chuck Bair and wife, Corinne of Villa Park, IL; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; Son James Bair and his wife Brenda; sisters Edna, Louise, Louvena; and brothers Emory, Charles, and Henry.Vertie was a wonderful cook and was very family oriented. Because of her kindness, she would have done anything for anybody. "
