Verna Norrington

Verna M. Norrington, 80 of Forsyth died at her home, Sat. ,Oct. 26. 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 at Brintlinger & Earl Home, Decatur, Ill., where friends may call for two hours before service. Burial will be at Steenbergen Cemetery, Mt. Pulaski, Ill. Memorials maybe made to First Christian Church, Clinton, Ill. Or Donors Choice. Mrs. Norrington was born Sept. 5, 1933 at Lake Fork, Ill., the daughter of Charles "Pat" and Mable Fuiten Manley. She married Seigal " Seig" Norrington, Sept. 5, 1958 at Lake Fork, Ill., He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 2012. Verna was a member of the First Christian Church, Clinton and the Decatur YMCA. Surviving her is a Daughter Kara M. Norrington of Forsyth, Il. Two Step Children; Michael P. Norrington and wife Mary Lou of Carbondale, Ill. And Susan J. Longfellow and husband Jack of Decatur, Ill. Sister; Janet Deibert and husband Darold of Mt. Pulaski,Ill. Five Step Grandchildren; Tamara Evey of St. Louis, Mo., Brad Gillespie of Indianapolis, Ind., Todd Norrington and wife Dannyel of Carterville, Ill., Lori Gillespie of Champaign, Ill. and Christopher Norrington and wife Karissa of Fairview Heights, Ill and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Patricia "Pat" Bandelow. "
