Tony M. McKlin, 74, of Decatur, IL, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, at Macon Cemetery, Macon, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Tony was born July 25, 1940, in St. Genevieve, MO, son of Ernest and Stella (Farlow) McKlin. He married Margaret Jesse on April 26, 2010, in Decatur. She preceded him in death. Tony served his country with the U.S. Navy from April 1959 - March 1969. He was also in the Navy Reserve for 7 years, and a member of American Legion Post 105. Tony retired from Wagner Castings Mfg. Co. as General Foreman after 23 years of service. Surviving are his step-son: Timothy D. Ater and wife Cathy of Oakley, IL; step-grandchildren: Angela, Kimberly, Stefany; step-great-grandchildren: Kameron and Giovanni; sisters: Elizabeth Hennings of Tower Hill, IL, Mary Ellen Green, Jeannne Ater, both of Chaelville, TX, and Marsella Whitlatch of Cowden, IL; friends: John Pasisinic and Jim Ricker, both of Decatur, IL; and the family dog Max. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers. "
