Tony J. Johnson, 41, of Loda, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
A Celebration of T.J.’s life will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Homer Lake Forest Preserve in Homer. Bring your poles and fish in T.J.’s favorite spots as we celebrate his life and legacy.
T.J. was born October 20, 1983, in Tuscola, the son of Tony and Kim (Closson) Johnson. He married Adrienne DeBarge on October 14, 2022, in Paxton. T.J. worked for Red’s Tile Repair and previously for Roland Realty. He was passionate about fishing and spending time outdoors. T.J. was an avid fan of classic country music. But, he loved the time he spent with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Adrienne; children: Aubrey Johnson, Chad Wilkins, Jr., Kaylee Wilkins, and Richard Wilkins; father, Tony Johnson; siblings: Shawnda Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Travis Johnson, Virginia Johnson and Sean Kollman.
T.J. was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Kim and Steve Keefer.
