Tina Johnson

Tina Marie Johnson, 50, of Decatur, passed away April 29, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital.Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery. Memorials in Tina’s honor may be made to Decatur and Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation.Tina was born July 8, 1971 in Decatur, the daughter of Richard “Dick” Tucker, Jr. and Theresa “Teri” (Jones) Garrett. She worked in assembly at Hydro-Gear in Sullivan, was an in-home caregiver, and was a bartender at Wild Dog Saloon. Tina had a love for all animals and enjoyed her mini-zoo. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She also was a gardener and liked going to rummage sales.Tina is survived by her son, Aaron (Hailey) Russell of Decatur; daughter, Amanda Russell (Jesse Sullivan) of Harristown; grandchildren: Keegan Russell, Brayden Sullivan, and Valen Russell; mother, Teri (Terry) Garrett; husband, Roger Johnson; brothers: Richard “Rick” Tucker III, and Dustin (Sheerie) Garrett; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Dick Tucker, Jr. and her grandparents: Chet and Barbara Jones.
