Timothy Eugene “Tim” Berg, 69, of Decatur, died Saturday, June 23, 2018, in Liberty Village, Clinton, IL.Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, June 28, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:30 A.M. until service time. Military Honors will be accorded by Macon County Honor Guard.Tim was born May 17, 1949, in Decatur, the son of Floyd and Lois (Jordan) Berg. He married his high school sweetheart, Peggy Davidson, in Switzerland on December 2, 1969. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Germany. Tim began working at Mueller Company in 1971 and retired in 2015 after 44 years of service. He enjoyed attending his grandkids’ games and activities as well as working in his yard. He attended Glad Tidings Church.Tim is survived by his wife Peggy of Decatur; son, Kristopher Kent (Amy) Berg of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Kimberly (Jeff) Glowacki of Normal, IL; 5 grandchildren, Alexis, Grant, Abby, Braden, and Bella.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary Berg.The family would like to thank Liberty Village in Clinton and Harbor Light Hospice for their excellent care of Tim.
