Thomas Stowell

Thomas Jerome Stowell, 66, of Decatur, IL, died Sat., Dec. 13, 2014 in his home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Mr. Stowell was born Aug. 23, 1948 in Decatur, IL., the son of James Charles & Mary Frances Young Stowell. He was a truck driver for Hoffman Trucking and formerly ADM. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Veitnam Conflict. He enjoyed shooting skeet and trap, was a member of the Warrensburg Gun Club and a life member of the Ducks Unlimited and the NRA, member of the Decatur Gun Club and Decatur Bicycle Club. Surviving are Three Brothers; Kevin D. Stowell & Wife Elsie of Concho, AR, Tim Stowell of Decatur, IL., J. Frank Stowell of Decatur,IL . Two sisters; Jennifer Lynn of Norfolk, VA., and Anna Maria Hieronymus and Husband Niles of Decatur, IL. Nieces and Nephews: Jessica, Lindsey, Phillip and Katie. He was preceded in death by his parents. "
