Thomas Greanias

Thomas Gregory Greanias passed away on Friday July 27, 2018.Tom was born in Decatur, Illinois, on December 10, 1941, the son of Gus T. Greanias and Mary (Livesay) Greanias. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Langner (Steven), brother John Greanias (Pat), and sister Frances Greanias.Tom attended Millikin University (BS, 1963) and the University of Notre Dame (MBA, 1974). He was a proud member and supporter of Beta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Millikin. He served his country as a U.S. Navy officer, and participated in the successful mission recovery of Gemini 12 astronauts James Lovell and Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin. Tom served his community as Decatur Township Assessor and Decatur Township Trustee. There will be no visitation pursuant to his wishes. "
