Thomas Fogerson

Thomas B. Fogerson, Sr., 82, of Decatur, IL, died 1:47 P.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 P.M., Friday, April 13, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL. Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois. Thomas was born August 10, 1929 in Bement, IL, the son of Ray and Thelma (Spelbring) Fogerson. He married Doris E. Clough on August 16, 1946 in Bement, IL. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2010. Thomas farmed all of his life. He is survived by his son Thomas B. Fogerson, Jr. and wife Suzie of Decatur, IL; granddaughters Jennifer Voelker and husband Matt and their children Peyton and Rylee, Amanda Daniels and husband Mike and their children Bryson and Caitlyn; sisters Wilma Eads of Oreana, IL, Phyllis Tipsword of Villa Grove, IL, Diana Pierce and husband Chuck of Bement, IL; brothers Leonard Fogerson and wife Maxine of White Heath, IL, Kenneth Fogerson and companion Karen of Decatur, IL, Dean Fogerson and wife June of Oreana, IL, Darrell Fogerson and wife Margaret of Monticello, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. The family would like to thank Dr. Keith Smith and Dr. Benjamin Esparaz for all their care and compassion given to Thomas. "
