Thomas Lee Corman, 66, of Decatur, IL passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 peacefully in his home with his family by his side. Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Center of Decatur or Passion Community Church in Mt. Zion, IL. Tom was born on September 13, 1949 in Decatur, IL the son of John Milton and Kathleen Louise (Coffman) Corman. He married Pamela Sphar on Sept. 30, 1967 in Decatur, IL. Tom was devoted to being the best he could be in all aspects of his life. Known as a hard worker and very meticulous about the way he did all things. He was a lifelong farmer who dedicated his life to being the best farmer he could. He was respected by many fellow farmers and business associates. Tom enjoyed his family, especially the years he spent traveling with them in the "Blue Flame" as an important part of their family motocross team. Tom has been preceded in death by his mother and father. He leaves behind his wife, Pam; son Kevin; grandsons, Kyle & Zach; brother Ron (Jeanie), and many special in-laws and nieces and nephews. Private family graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 2:00pm at Point Pleasant Cemetery in Long Creek, IL. The family would like to invite Tom's family and friends to an open house to honor Tom on Saturday, October 24 from 1-5p at the Corman Family Farm, 6096 Ocean Trail Rd; Decatur, IL. "
