Thomas Bowdre

Thomas H. Bowdre, 77, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 2, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. Thomas was born October 7, 1941, in Whiteheath, IL, son of Francis and Viona (Hassinger) Bowdre. He married Janet R. Flemings on October 15, 1961, in Decatur. Thomas previously worked as an electrician for Wagner Castings and was a member of Moose Lodge #684. Surviving are his wife Janet of Decatur; daughter Cindy Lunsford and husband Donald of Decatur; son Paul Bowdre of Gorville, IL; grandchildren Aaron Bentley and Samantha Bowdre, both of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents.
