Theodore "Ted" William Myers, 70, of Forsyth, IL, went to be with the Lord at 12:32 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 25, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 24, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church. Ted was born April 20, 1941, in Decatur, the son of Warren William and Corrine Evelynne (Taylor) Myers. He married Dianna K. Hancock on June 26, 1960, in Decatur. Ted was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and served as a Deacon. He retired from ADM as a welder. Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Dianna of Forsyth, IL; children Debbie (Dennis) Ridgeway of Cerro Gordo, IL, Cindy Myers of Chicago, IL, Tom (Donna) Myers of Dalton City, IL, Linda Hartman of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren Devin and Cheyenne Hartman, Shelby and Harrison Myers; and sisters Mae (Bob) Kater of Decatur, IL, and Donna (Steve) Hedges of Oakley, IL. Ted was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to give special thanks to DMH Hospice and our loving Tabernacle church family. "
