Thelma Zientara

Thelma Mae Zientara, 89, of Decatur, IL passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Fair Havens Christian Village. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, IL with graveside services to follow. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park in Harristown, IL.Thelma was born on October 13, 1928, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Vern and Velma (Scoles) Jones. She married Emmett Earl Zientara on December 31, 1945 in Decatur, IL, and he survives.Surviving along with husband Emmett are children; Jerry Zientara, Jim Zientara, Joe Zientara, LuAnn Korando, Penny Zientara, and Suzan Phebus. Thelma is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Thelma was preceded in death by her parents.
