Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, October 25, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Memorials may be made to Summit Avenue Baptist Church or Alzheimers Association.Telma was born September 17, 1918, in Bagley, Iowa, the daughter of George Clyde and Ivy Mable (Stratton) Tisor. She married Alva Ray Conaway on August 29, 1937 in Columbus Junction, Iowa.Telma previously worked as a cook at the Redwood Restaurant, retiring in 1992, after 21 years of service. She was a member Summit Avenue Baptist Church. Telma loved to attend her childrens, grandchildren, and great-grandchildrens ball games and was active in Gold Star Mothers.Surviving are her children Ronald Ray Conaway of Decatur, IL, Danny Clyde Conaway of Decatur, IL, Mary Jane Davis of Arcadia, FL, Alva Dean Conaway and wife Bev of Macon, IL, Joyce Ann Thomas of Decatur, IL; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Alta D. Adams of Spokan, WA, Barbara J. Nelson of Muscatine, Iowa and Velma Lee of Columbus Junction, IA; daughter-in-law Shirley Ann Conaway of Taylorville, IL.Telma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gary Lee Conaway, and seven brothers.The family would like to give special thanks to Sara on the second floor, the nursing staff, housekeeping, activity, food service, and especially the residents of Fair Havens Christian Home. "
