Susan Daum

Susan J. Daum, 65 of Decatur, IL, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2017 in her home with her husband of 46 years by her side.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 2 in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur with David Pinta officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, June 1, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lester Barnett Cemetery, Decatur. Susan was born in Lakewood, OH, to John Robert and Neice Morrow on January 25, 1952. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1970. She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Randy Daum on July 17th, 1970 in Bloomington, IL. Her hobbies were gazing at the lake from her spot on the deck and enjoying People magazine, riding her Harley or on the back of Randy’s bike and travel, she loved to travel the world and made sure she did. It’s no surprise that she is a retired travel agent. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed. Susan is survived by her loving husband, daughter, Amy Daum Goad and her husband, Troy of Moweaqua, IL; daughter, Tabitha Daum and her husband, Archie; grandson Skyler Daum, all of Decatur; brothers David Morrow of Decatur and Tim Morrow of Dallas, TX; lastly and certainly not least to Susan, her beloved cat companion, Jackson.Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
