Jones, Jr., 38, of Decatur, IL, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018, at his residence.Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Resurrection Life Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Resurrection Life Church or Go Fund Me account for Sturgis Jones.Sturgis was born June 9, 1979 in Decatur, IL, the son of Sturgis, Sr. and Chatton (Ewing) Jones. He married Cynthia Driscoll on June 17, 2017 in Decatur, IL.Sturgis was a member of Resurrection Life Church.He is survived by his wife Cynthia of Decatur; mother Chatton of Decatur; siblings Sheila (Jason) Flournoy of Decatur, Sultan (Tamara) Murray of Springfield, Carlile Ewing of Decatur, Amber Jones of Tulsa, OK, Chad (Sarah) Jones of Decatur, Remo Jones of Decatur; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father.
