Steven Schaal

Steven P. Schaal, 70, of Decatur, IL, passed away January 17, 2022.Private family services will be held. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Decatur, IL.Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with arrangements.Steven was born March 8, 1951, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Virgil and Betty (Kistler) Schaal. He retired from A.E. Staley after many years of service.He is survived by his sons: Travis Schaal, Paul Schaal, Jason Schaal, Justin Schaal and Cody Schaal; nieces and nephews: Josh Schaal, Tammy Schaal, and B.J. Schaal.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
