Steve W. Woodson, 41, of Decatur, IL, died 3:04 P.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2010.Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 8, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery, Harristown, IL. The family requests casual attire. Memorials may be made to the family. Steve was born February 8, 1969 in Decatur, IL, the son of Teresa Diane (Stephens) Willard. He was a construction welder for 20 years and loved motorcycling, fishing, and was an avid Jeff Gordon Nascar fan. Steve was a former member of Maranatha Assembly of God Church.He is survived by his life-long friend Tammy McCoy of Decatur, IL; children Jaron Wiedner of Charleston, IL, Dawnette Sigmon of Decatur, IL, Dennis Mills of Atlanta, GA, Travis and Samantha McCoy, both of Decatur, IL; 3 grandchildren; mother Teresa Willard and companion Robert McCourt of Decatur, IL; sisters Connie Woodson and domestic partner Regina Peoples of Decatur, IL, Dianna Bell-Anderson and husband Robert of Niantic, IL; maternal grandfather Charley W. Stephens and wife Dorothy of Decatur, IL; aunt Kathy Marquis and special cousin Jennifer Marquis, both of Decatur, IL; uncle Richard Stephens and wife Diane of Cowden, IL; beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Betty Stephens, several aunts and uncles.
