Stanley Peck

Stanley R. "Stan" Peck, 96, of Decatur, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at McKinley Court. Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 8, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation from 4:00 P.M. until service time. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 9, at Kankakee Memorial Gardens, Kankakee, IL. Stanley was born November 17, 1918, in Peotone, IL, the son of Alonzo and Freida (Stade) Peck. He married Myrtle Marie Allie in 1967. She preceded him in death in December 2003. Stanley was the owner and President of Peck Auto Supply, which was established in 1969. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in WWII. Stanley was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Golden K Kiwanis Club, VFW Post #4300 in Sebring, FL, BPO Elks #401 in Decatur, and the Loyal Order of the Moose #684 in Decatur. Stanley is survived by his son Michael Peck (Karen) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Pierson Peck, sister Phyllis Moelnke, and brother Jerome Peck. "
