Stanley K. Dial, 71, of Forsyth, IL, passed away peacefully with family on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth.
Private family graveside services will be held at Snyder-Traughber Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL.
Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, will be assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials in Stanley’s honor may be made to Memorial Home Hospice of Decatur.
Stanley was born May 27, 1951, in Decatur, IL, the son of Carl Keith and Ardythe Mary (Snyder) Dial.
Stanley worked for 30 plus years at DMH as a Respiratory Therapist and for 10 years with DMH Home Equipment. He loved spending time with family, dining with friends, listening to music and traveling, especially to Mexico.
He is survived by his brothers: Roger (Jan) Dial of Maroa and Bruce (Susan) Dial of Raleigh, NC; nieces and nephews: Monica, Mindy, Alex, Benjamin, Michael, Kelsey, Katelyn and Justin Stare; Aunt Lucille and Uncle David Shasteen; and many beloved cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Donna Canham.
Stanley’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Hickory Point Christian Village in Forsyth and Memorial Home Hospice for the loving care that they provided to Stanley.
