CUSTOM DEATH NOTICE Sophia Langrand, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2009, at St. Marys Regional Health Center, Mt. Vernon, IL.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.Sophia was born May 7, 1918, in Benld, IL, the daughter of John and Susanna Jacko. She married Gerald Langrand on January 25, 1943. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2007. Sophia was a former member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She taught school for 23 years at Oreana Elementary School. Surviving are her son Robert (Jill) Langrand of Mt.
