Shirley Jean Nash went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Decatur, IL, surrounded by her family

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at South Shores Christian Church, 130 Bristol Dr, Decatur, IL, 62521. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at South Shores Christian Church.

Shirley was born on August 20, 1935, the daughter of Delbert and Hazel (Lourash) Shafer. She married Jim Nash on August 7, 1965, in Mt Zion, IL.

She was an active member of South Shore Christian Church, as well as a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and spent her life creating a loving, happy home for them.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Jim Nash; children Carol (Jack) Emmons, Becky Scribner, Donna (Don) Bruder, Jimmie Nash Jr; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Bob Durham, son-in-law Steve Scribner, and granddaughter Megan Emmons.
