Shirley Mae (Daniels) Miller, 81, of Decatur, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, in her home. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, October 4, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Thursday, October 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Oreana Baptist Church. Shirley was born October 28, 1931 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Carl H. Daniels and Bessie (Jackson) Daniels. She married Lester Eugene Miller on October 13, 1962 in Oakley. Shirley was a member of Oreana Baptist Church, and she was a homemaker. She is survived by her children: Doug and Sandy Miller of Decatur, Linda and Tom Gilbert of Mt. Zion, Janet and Gary Hampton of Lovington, Pam and Jack Conley of Findlay, Phyllis and Carl Garrett of Decatur, Greg and Jan Miller of Mt. Zion, Les and Lee Miller of Moweaqua, and Loretta and Don Baker of Florida; sister Rose and Norm Jargon of Decatur; 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and 1 niece. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a nephew. Shirley's favorite hymn was Thank You Lord for Your Blessing on Me. She was the blessing to everyone who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother with a heart full of love for her family. "
