Shirley Mathias

Shirley J. Mathias, 87, of Decatur, IL, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Fair Havens Christian Home. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, followed by interment at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Shirley was born October 19, 1932, in Decatur, daughter of Horace and Bertha (Kollock) Hendricks. She married Stanley Mathias. He preceded her in death in September 1994. Shirley was a member of Macon Baptist Church. Surviving are her children: Gary Mathias and wife Pam of Macon, Sue Agnew of Decatur, Greg Mathias of Canton, IL, Lori Rush and husband Kenny of Union City, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Roy Holderness, husband Stanley, brother Wally Hendricks, and sister Marian McReynolds.
