Shirley M. German, 78, of Decatur, IL, died 2:15 P.M., Friday, November 30, 2012, at Lincoln Rehabilitation in Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2012. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Parknisons Research. Shirley was born May 16, 1934 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Roscoe F. and Ethel May (Scroggins) Jacobs. She married Herschel L. German on July 25, 1953 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death. Shirley worked at the Decatur Club and Decatur Country Club as a waitress. She enjoyed camping and loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Roger German and wife Laurie of Decatur, IL, Ron German and wife Debbie of Decatur, IL, Randy German and wife Julie of Lovington, IL, Richard German of Macon, IL, Rebecca Haller and husband Kenny of Decatur, IL; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters Gladys Snodgrass of Brook, IN, Joanne Moore of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herschel, grandson Dylan Haller, brothers Gene and Wayne, and sister Louise. "
