Shirle Ann Catlin, 82, of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in her home.Shirle was born December 3, 1935, in Decatur, daughter of Russell and Dorothy (Briggs) Burnett. She was a graduate of St. Teresa High School. She married Stanley Catlin December 23, 1961, in Decatur.Shirle is survived by her husband of 56 years, Stanley of Decatur, IL; son: Barry Catlin of Decatur, IL; daughters: Ann (Karl) Petrowsky of Decatur, IL and Brigitte (Shane) Stahl of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren: Joshua Buckley, Adam Francisco, Katie Petrowsky, Sarah, Madeline, Sophia, and Jacob Stahl; and brother: Gary Burnett of Decatur, IL.Shirle was preceded in death by her parents.Private family services will be held at a later date.
