Sheryl Lynn Osgood (Thompson), 79, of Forsyth, IL, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024, at Hickory Point Christian Village with her Husband by her side.
Graveside services and burial will be 11 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2004, at North Fork Cemetery, Long Creek, IL.

Sheryl was born on June 18, 1945, in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Claud Thompson and Hazel Geneva Thompson (Johnson). She graduated from Lakeview High School where she was a member of the Theta Sorority.
Sheryl married her high-school sweetheart, Mark Lee Osgood on February 28, 1964. They celebrated their 60 th anniversary this year. Sheryl loved taking care of her home, shopping, going on cruises, and cozying up to a Hallmark movie.
Sheryl is survived by her husband, Mark Lee Osgood of Forsyth; brother, Philip T. Thompson (Diana J.) of Marco Island, FL; nephews: P. Trent Thompson, Jr. (Kristen M.) of Decatur, IL and Drew J. Thompson (Katya) of Boca Raton, FL; great-nieces: Sophia R. of Indianapolis, IN and Alyssa M. of Decatur.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her son, James Trent Osgood; mother, Hazel Geneva Thompson; and father, Claud Thompson.
