Sharry Brandenburg

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, September 16, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 15, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.Sharry was born August 10, 1941, in Decatur, the daughter of Everett Ferrell and Pearl Louise (Harford) Dabbs. Sharry was a homemaker and previously worked as an inspector at Akorn Mfg. Co. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.Surviving are her children Timothy L. Brandenburg and wife Helen of Bethany, IL, Angela L. Gossett and husband Mike of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Jessica Brandenburg, Stephanie Brandenburg, Ryan Brandenburg, Adam Gossett, Brandi Gossett; and great granddaughter Alexis Gossett.Sharry was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marilyn Boggs, and special friend Jimmy McKinney.The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the many friends who helped her through the last six years of Sharrys life.
