Sharon Kay Walters, 72, of Decatur, Illinois died 6:20 p.m. Friday August 23, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home Decatur, Il with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00a.m. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Decatur, IL Memorials: Cancer Care Specialist of Central Illinois or Larry Jones "Feed the Children" Sharon was born April 20, 1941 in Decatur, IL the daughter of, Jacob and Marguerite (Clodfelter) Clark. She married Jack Walters January 16, 1964, her loving husband, friend and soul mate. Sharon was a homemaker with much love in all that she accomplished. Surviving: Darling daughter Jacque Lynn Roberts and Steve of Decatur, IL; son Steve (Susan) Walters of Punta Gorda, FL, daughter Angela (Gene) Gray of Decatur, IL; sisters, Norma Dowd (Art) of Des Plaines, IL, Karen Weybrite of Blue Mound, IL, Bernita Newlin (Alan) of Zephyrhills, FL; grandchildren- Elisha (Marshall) Wright of De Soto, IL Danielle Nelson (Roger Meade) of Mahomet, IL, Vance Nelson, Decatur, IL Jason (Michele) Gelbach of Edwardsville, IL, Erik Walters of Punta Gorda, FL, Adam (Angelica) Walters of Marston Mills, MA, Adrienne (Joshua) Kramer of Decatur, IL; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and countless others that needed a mother's love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and (Marguerite) Clark, three brothers. The family would like to thank Dr. Esperaz and Dr. Totel, hospice and special friend and joy ride partner Mary Reynolds for the loving care given to Sharon. "
